Brandon had asked Cintha to be his girlfriend at Belle Isle so we thought that'd be the perfect place to start their session. I think our session also happened to be just around one year after their got engaged!
Life update - I'm now a University of Virginia alumna! I have such a mix of emotions from excitement to sadness and relief about reaching the end of my college career. I probably won't ever be in formal education again (*fingers crossed*)! Even though I'm not pursuing academia or a career related much at all to what I studied, I don't regret finishing my college education. Reflecting on my time at UVA, I am thankful to be able to choose what's next.
I always love hearing that someone's pursuing their passions. I'm so excited that Haley will be pursuing her passion for helping others and continuing her studies in social work at Case Western University this Fall. From her warm personality and impressive academic achievements, I have no doubt she's going to be an amazing social worker! I also want to give a shoutout to Mom (in one of the photos below) for all of her help both before and during the session - we couldn't have done it without her.
When we think grad session, or really any portrait session, we often imagine bright, sunny skies or warm sunsets - but that's not always the case! Cloudy weather photographs beautifully, too, which was exactly what Stephanie was looking for. We actually planned for a cloudy day so we could do something a little bit different. Can you tell I'm a fan of minimalism?
