I saw Kaylyn’s story and just had to reach out about capturing it. The day before her wedding, Kaylyn’s grandfather unfortunately fell and broke a rib. He was unable to make it to her wedding or her brother’s wedding a few weeks later. Knowing how devastated he was to have missed two of his grandkids’ weddings, Kaylyn planned to get everyone together to surprise her grandparents.
This wedding was honestly such an enjoyable change of pace because we set aside so much time to create portraits. We actually scheduled three 45 minute portrait sessions throughout the day. This gave us plenty of time to explore the beautiful locations we had access to and get more creative shots like the ‘first dance’ shot below. I had so much fun capturing Lina and Al’s vision for their wedding day and wish them both all the best!
Getting to know Stephen and Cristi in the days prior made me extra look forward to their session. It was their first time taking couples portraits together, but I never would have known. They have such a loving and caring relationship that shows so easily through their affection towards each other both on and off the camera.
